Newly renovated, rustic and quirky, Lishe is far more than a teashop. Serving a wide range of Brew Tea Co teas and Cornish brand Origin speciality barista coffee, Lishe also makes cakes, soups, smoothies and savouries every day; crafted by hand with love. Try the traditional old school seed cakes, bread pudding and quiches, or choose from a specials board full of modern twists including black pudding scotch eggs, nutty sausage rolls, or all in one breakfast pies or whatever culinary delight the staff dream up on that day.

Your order arrives packed with flavour, beautifully finished with edible flowers, all laid out on traditional china. Kids love the little brownies and flapjacks, and their cheese crouton topped onion soup or Grannieâ¬ôs Trifle are firm favourites with everyone. As is the decor; many of the lamps and decorations are made by local craftspeople, and available for sale.

Wherever possible, Lishe opts for good honest food sourced from local producers with quality, seasonal ingredients & their salads are grown on a smallholding just up the hill. The chefs are also able to tailor your meal to fit your choices and dietary needs.

The cafe sits by the beautiful and mighty Tamar River in the village of Calstock, deep into the heart of this Area of Outstanding Beauty. Pop in for a quick bite, or stay for a long relaxed lunch and join the buzz of conversation between staff, locals and visitors alike.

Complete your visit on one of the many walking routes, or in the one-off shops right on the doorstep. Dogs are welcome too, and the staff usually indulge them with a biscuit or two.
